Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
Experience proactive, transformative care designed to address all aspects of your well-being. With 24/7 access to your doctor and health coordinator, collaborative partnerships with your entire care team, and uninterrupted, one-on-one quality time with your doctor at every visit, you receive personalized attention and support. Benefit from high-tech, customized testing, advanced nutritional interventions, and guidance tailored to your needs. Enjoy the convenience of flexible office hours and patient-centered services. Additionally, telemedicine visits ensure seamless access to care from anywhere.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance is not used for office visits at our practice. Instead, we operate on an out-of-pocket membership fee basis, allowing us to prioritize your care without insurance constraints. Our membership fee ensures personalized attention and unhurried appointments focused solely on your health. For specialist care such as Gastroenterology or Cardiology, as well as labs and other diagnostics, your insurance will cover those in-network services as in a traditional model. While our office does not directly handle insurance claims for tests and diagnostics, we are more than happy to assist you in providing any necessary documentation or support throughout the process.
How can I gain membership into the practice?
Currently, we provide two membership tiers: Direct Primary Care and Concierge Medicine. Please contact us to schedule a brief consultation to determine the ideal fit for you.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model where patients pay a monthly or annual fee directly to their primary care physician or practice for comprehensive primary care services. DPC practices often maintain smaller patient panels, enabling longer appointment times and personalized care. This model seeks to eliminate insurance and third-party payers, nurturing a direct and personalized relationship between patients and physicians.
What extra benefits are included in the Concierge Medicine membership?
Services include an Executive Physical, advanced preventive health screening tools, physician travel advisory consultation for international trips, coordination of specialty services with top specialists as needed, and weight management support. All appointments are scheduled promptly, either for in-person visits or via telemedicine. This membership is restricted to a very limited number of patients to ensure personalized attention.
Do I need to pay a Membership if I’m healthy?
Joining a direct primary care (DPC) practice or Concierge Medicine, even when healthy, is highly beneficial. DPC doctors not only provide care when you’re sick but also focus proactively on keeping you healthy, preventing diseases, and promoting a good lifestyle. Unlike the insurance-based system, DPC emphasizes early detection and prevention, allowing you to maintain good health under the guidance of a caring doctor and potentially avoid chronic diseases and hospitalizations in the future.
Will I be required to continue paying membership if I don’t use the service?
What about the cost of prescription medications?
The cost of prescription medications is the responsibility of the patients and is typically covered by their insurance plans.
What if I need to see a specialist?
Your insurance will cover care provided by in-network specialists. Our team will facilitate a seamless transition and collaborate with the top specialists in the community to ensure your ongoing care.
